Michelle Golberg rips into the Village Voice for their article attacking anti-trafficking activists (Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher), as well as understating and oversimplifying sex trafficking in the U.S. Did we mention Village Voice Media has its own “adult services website”? Yeah  . . .

Goldberg sheds light on why child-prostitution numbers are so low on police dockets—16 and 17 year olds are often charged as adults, and police enforcement still focuses on street prostitution, while sex trafficking now typically happens “behind closed doors” or on sites that advertise for sex.
